Fading light at New Grimsby Sound

It all started well this morning at St Agnes. We took the opportunity for Peter to do the things that I normally do: start the engine, calling on the VHF etc. We soon hit some problems with the main not fully unfurling, however not of Peter’s making! We went along the narrow channel Smith’s Sound between St Agnes and Annett and then into St Mary’s Road to try to rectify. I got helpful advice from All Spars in Plymouth, but we had already managed to fix it ourselves.
