Tacking on flat seas

Lawrence and I departed Brixham mid afternoon. I have always rushed past Brixham to and from the boat, but it is actually a great town and has a good marina. Maybe it is where I would keep the boat if I was going to base her in the West Country. We had very light winds departing in the sunshine. It picked up nicely though after we rounded Bear Head. We tacked up Start Bay in flat seas and just now failed to get around Start Point, needed another tack! The day light and wind started to fade, we needed to motor the last stretch into Salcombe.
