We are off again! Off our rockers, some may think; regardless, here we go, again, to the Marqueses.
Conditions: Wind - west 10 knots Swell - west moderate spaced far apart, very comfortable Boat Speed - 5 knots under full sail
Notes: Wind from west, so we headed SSW (180 - 200) until 1700 hrs when wind shifted slightly to north and we adjusted position to 210 - 220 degrees. Wind died shortly after dusk, even main sail flogging. Dropped all sails and motored through night, (in order to get west of 'hurricane alley').
We had been in Mantanchen Bay since early morning, Friday April 27th. The week went quite quickly:
Fri. - rested and straightened boat Sat/Sun. - discussed our next move Mon. - trip inland for Propane Tues. - went into town of San Blas, bought fresh produce and watched 'Children's Day' celebration on the main plaza Wed. - went into town again for re-provisioning Thu/Fri. - short but fun reunion with our friends from s/v Momo; Bernie, Michelle, Lola, and Jana. Sat. - 2nd departure for the South Pacific
