Day 2. En Route: Bora Bora, French Polynesia to Tonga

We are on the go again. We left Bora Bora yesterday afternoon and are heading towards Tonga 1350 nm to the west. We are having a hard time getting into the passage mode this time. I think we have gotten spoiled with the short trips we have made in the last 2 months, but the first 2-3 days out are always the worst on a passage so things will improve soon.
We do have two options for brief landfalls on this passage. The first is Palmerston Atoll (18 03S, 163 13W) 530 miles from here and the second is Niue (19 00S, 170 56W) that is 910 miles from here. Both these islands are open ocean anchorages and are very weather-dependent, so we will see.
