Being the optimist that I am......

Now comes the hard part....or is it the fun part, time will tell. This is going to be a lot of work I know but I keep thinking about when it's all done, how she will look, how it will feel. I've been reminded that I do things the hard way. I guess I would agree, at least this would be a good example of it. Anyway, I'm getting ready to plunge into this project. I will start with things that won't require a lot of money. This whole project will be done on a shoestring budget not so much out of nessesity as but more as a challenge to myself and to the naysayers. Some people can't understand why anyone would undertake something like this, why not just buy a boat already restored? I know what it feels like to finish a project like this and at the end reap the rewards of your accomplishments. Most people who are afraid to take on something like this will never experience that feeling. Most people in this country have gotten away from that self sufficiency. It's unfortunate.
