Hi Everyone, We have settled back into Island life aboard Red Sky after our quick visit home earlier this month. It was great to return home and catch up with our family and some friends whislt sorting out our visa issues but it is also great to be back aboard Red Sky doing what we enjoy , lazing about in the sun,swimming and enjoying the company of fellow yachties. We have spent the last few days as Guests of Marice & Heather off the vessel �"Indaba�" at the Blue Water Cruising Clubs facilities in Geiger Cove on Catalina Island. What a great place they have here , probably the islands best kept secret I reckon as it is one on the very few places that you can anchor close to shore in crystal clear shallow water and we feal very privilaged to have been invited to visit here and meet some of the members who have made us very welcome indeed. BBQ`S on the beach , cocktails on boats that turned into lunch and dinner invitations and of course the �"2nd Tri-Annual Dinghy Progressive Party�" that translates into going from boat to boat in your dinghy and being fed by the host boats lots of yummy food (and a cocktail or two) such as Shrimp (prawns to us Aussies) , Bruchetta ,Sliders (little hamburgers to us Aussies) , Meat balls, Kababs, Mexican Pizza, and on and on until after the last boat is visited at which time we all then head for the beach whe re we indulge further in Apple pie , Birthday cake , Ice Cream ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,man was I full ! Thanks to all the members who so kindly included us in this club tradition and thanks also for your generosity and friendship through-out our stay in your special cove. We will intend to remain around Catalina for a couple more weeks before we head back to the mainland and then start our Journey south to San Diegio where we will then make our preperations for the BaHa Ha Ha rally to Cabo San Lucas on the Baha Peninsular Mexico. Will blog again along our way south in a couple of weeks ,, Ta Ta
