So yesterday, Denise and Frank joined us over in Christmas Cove and we had a great lunch and dinner together along with many laughs, a spectacular sunset, and we even got to see the Comet, cruising thru the sky, just after sunset.
This morning we woke and did a few small chores which included sewing the engine cover for OJ, and when we dropped it off to them around 10am they made us an offer we couldn’t refuse. Join them aboard OJ for a quick trip to Puerto Rico…it took us all of 10 seconds to say YES! And after quickly packing, we jumped aboard and off we went. We took the northern path in order to have the chance to see the whales that are migrating this time of year. Unfortunately, they don’t know how nice we are and so didn’t show themselves, bummer. The trip to Culebra took about 5 hours, and started with Denise making us an amazing lunch of steak sandwiches on fresh baked bread! I’m Never gonna get Jim to have cold meat sandwiches again!
Just before 5pm, we picked up a mooring in Tamarind Beach, and sit here all alone, with no other boats, and a beautiful breeze, relaxing and getting ready for a short hop to Fajardo, PR in the morning. … ya got love this cruising life!
