Rainy season not quite over

01 December 2013
It's been raining on and off for the past three days, with thunder and lightening too. The wind was blowing so hard last night Jim and I were up at 1:00am taking down one of the awnings that was making a racket. (In our pajamas - such as they are, in the rain!) We have been told that the Christmas winds are what eventually blows out the stormy season, oh...well, it's December they came come anytime now...(except not the day we are heading back from Puerto Rico, please!).

In any case...yesterday was the official last day of hurricane season, and the boat is really, really clean and shiny. The clothes on the lifelines have had a great freshwater rinse, and we are safe in a pretty place with fun friends. Life is pretty darn great...damp, but great!
