Happy New Year

Wednesday, January 1, 2014 Happy New Year!

Well, we had a few very busy days doing our tasks as the OJ support team, receiveing alcohol order, rent a car, do some shopping, reserve a can for OJ, etc, etc, etc…. but even though there were a few glitches, Denise’s organization made their 24 turn around work out just fine!

It was a crazy few days in Sopers Hole, with boats upon boats pouring in for the customs dock. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any busier…a few more boats wandered in! So, Monday, after dropping the car and checking out we ducked out of the BVI’s and headed over to St. John. Originally, many of our friends were planning to join up in Francis Bay and enjoy a New Years Eve party. Turns out most headed down to St. Thomas, and decided to stay there instead to enjoy the gunfire at Midnight. Charles and Leslie were here though, and so instead of a wild Raucous Happy Hour on Regenero, we enjoyed a wonderful Pork roast dinner aboard Sea Smoke, just the four of us…it was especially lovely and a wonderful way to celebrate Old Years Eve with excellent Friends.

So today, the 1st day of 2014 we enjoy a beautiful Carribbean day, with sunshine and 88 degrees. We have heard from multiple sources that it is snowing back in Chicago...again…very, very glad to be here.
