Nov 13, 2013, Thursday Here we go again

At dawn we say goodbye to Dan & Laura and head south to Ft Lauderdale, an easy drive. Just 15 minutes after returning the car, and dragging our ridiculous amount of luggage across to the terminal, we were checked in and ready for our flight. I have to say we MUCH prefer FLL to MIA, smaller, simpler, and so much easier to get around.

A few hours later we were dragging our luggage thru another just as easy to navigate airport, then hauling it into a rental car shuttle (thank goodness we were the only pickup that run)! Shortly we were loaded up in the rental car and navigating the streets of PR. Oh yeah, I remember this part, left turns from the right lane, shoulder driving, and optional traffic light adherence...what fun.

We managed to find our way to the Walmart and stock up for the week, then the real test...can we actually remember how to get to the hotel? The answer...mostly! And after one...ok two trips thru the barrio, we found the right turn, and here we are. Remember...just follow the ferry signs!
