The pattern is produced by tying coconut fronds over the fabric then it is dyed. Once the dying process is complete (about two weeks) then the entire piece has to be put back on the loom and lined up by eye.

After much deliberating we purchased a few pieces each (a couple of scarves for me) and headed back We enjoyed a pleasant dinner ashore in the resort restaurant.
