Petersburg

We arrived in Petersburg around 5 pm and refueled before heading to the north marina. We noticed Amber Lynn was in port. That is the crabbing boat we met back in 2014. The Skipper was aboard and I chatted with him for a few minutes. He was concerned about the poor crabbing and was afraid Alaskan Fisheries was going to shut down crabbing due to low stocks.
We then headed up to town and visited Coastal Seafood to get dinner to take back to the boat. Andrew and I selected the snow crab platter and Steve ordered the halibut beer bits. We enjoyed it with Alaskan Amber!
We watched Capt Ron before bed. It rained all night! In the morning we had a Restless grand slam breakfast (eggs, bacon, grits, and toast). We then took our laundry up to have it washed. We stopped in Papa Bear Pizza and shared a 12” pizza for lunch. Tonight we are having the crabs we caught in Pybus Bay. We are expecting an early departure tomorrow morning for the transit of Wrangell Narrows. Wrangell tomorrow night!
