Adventure of a lifetime

Sailing round the world....slowly

Beautiful Bequia

Had an easy start to the morning, and then a great sail down to Bequia - after we'd cleared the island that is. We thought Bequia would be packed, but there aren't so many boats here. Most of the mooring balls are empty, and there are a few boats at anchor still, but not as many as we expected. We are going to self distance ourselves here now over the next couple of weeks. We see people going about in their dinghys everywhere, and even the floating bar had lots of people on it last night, but we have lots of provisions on board and wont need to go ashore much at all. We can still swim around the boat and will even go for walks along the beach as there aren't many people there either, but won't go to town if we can avoid it. We have a couple of jobs we can do and guess we'll catch up on all the tv we haven't watched over the last year!
Boat boys come out with fresh fruit and veggies, lobster, bakery items, fuel, ice and water so we're set really!
