So we've had a great couple of weeks relaxing in Bequai. Keeping to ourselves most of the time, just going into town once a week for fresh supplies, and having the occasional sundowner session on the beach, leaving room in between. We especially enjoyed lobster being delivered by Alex, and fresh pastries delivered by Romeo. We met some more great people, but then decided yesterday that we really should get to the USA in case they decide to close borders to non nationals. We were fully stocked with fuel and provisions, so ready to go, but it was still a momentous decision to make. We dont want to be down here for the hurricane season, so this seemed to be the next best plan.
Had to go up to the mainland to check out, but now we are on our way.
Should be a 10 day passage, we're planning to make landfall at Miami
