Love, love Boca Ratan. Stayed here in the anchorage for 4 days. Great holding in mud, protected from a smaller storm, and got the biggest pizzas delivered!!
Very quiet as its in a no wake zone, so boats that do come past, are goung nice and slow. Its not a big area to anchor in as right in the middle of the bay it shallow to waist depth. So many small boats pull in there and then everyone jumps out and they walk around in the shallows. We had 0.7 under us at low tide. Had another bit of a storm pass over one day, but it only lasted a couple of hours and then it all cleared up for a perfect afternoon.
We found a pizza place with free delivery, so we ordered 2 large pizzas, but didnt realise just how large they were. Never mind, pizza leftovers tomorrow
