Early start this morning, 0550 just before sunrise, so we would have the current with us. And it worked, we were cracking 6kts for a good while. We were overtaken by a friendly yacht early, but then we overtook him again when they were under sail..we kept motoring, there was hardly any breeze.
We pulled into Caspers Marina to get fuel ($1.95 p G)and water, no charge, (mainly needed water) and saw that same yacht being towed in by TowBoat US. Hadn't heard anything on radio, so not sure what the problem was.
Lovely sunny day and lits of dolphins. Anchored up and then watched as more boats kept coming. Ended up wirh 10 of us in there. Lots of entertainment all afternoon with trucks, helicopters, fast jets and a funny looking guy called an Osprey. Very cool anchorage. No wind, so hardly any movement, just some with the tide, good holding in mud.
