12 nm today to OCC members Allan and Cathy's dock in Factory Creek Beaufort SC. Left at daybreak to catch the tide, then as we turned into another river, we had it against us, but not very strong. Allan and Cathy had seen us on AIS and were there to meet us on their dock. We used their water to rinse boat off and fill water tanks. Their place is convenient to a hardware store and large supermarket so we enjoyed a walk and explore around in the sunshine. Shared sundowners and chatted on their porch. Fascinating couple.
Later that night we watched as the rocket taking men to the space station flew across the sky. Amazing sight!!
