Actually had quite an enjoyable passage down. Unfortunately we had to motor sail most of the way as we wanted to stay at 5kts, but we did have 3 hrs of great sailing around midnight.
Not much boat traffic and calm seas. Arrived at Lauderdale at 1335 and just missed the opening bridge at 1330 so had to wait for the 1400 opening.
Anchored by 1430.
Best news is that we got our covid test results back...both negative at about 0900 this morning. Then our visa applications were approved within 20mins of submitting them.
So now we are ready, waiting to go with good winds Monday night.
