After our wonderful time up the River we headed further south to Palmizana ACI marina on SV Klement. It is the only marina I would consider swimming in!! It is situated across from the town of Hvar. From the marina we could take a ferry across to Hvar and enjoy the sights of all the super yachts and the trendy boutiques, without trying to leave Revilo in the midst of the busy harbor. The marina had good facilities and a laundry - and the more popular anchorage of Vinogradisce (with its many restaurants) just a 10 minute walk away. Our most favorite anchorage was Tarsce Bay (a couple bays north of Vinogradisce). The anchoring depth was approximately 3 - 6 mtrs in beautiful clear water. It is the first place we enjoyed using our mask and snorkel! Though we did not visit the restaurant there, Sher and Scott reported that Dionis, up a path at the left end of the harbor, was quite a good meal and setting.
