The Revolution

I titled this blog "Revoution", because as I consume other sailing blogs it seems there is a constant battle raging with boat systems, weather and the general liveaboardl lifestyle. This is my story as I learn the ropes to sail into the sunset.

Spring day on the water - It was a great spring day in Miami. Went out sailing for 4 hours in perfect sailing conditions. Another day to get the new sail broken in. It was a little tough to get it out and back in but better this time. I made a call the next day to Mack Sails to find out what is going on with this sail. Travis told me it has 7 layers of new heavy Dacron on the luff (front part of the sail) and it has to learn how to roll those first few turns. Also to furl the mainsail on the starboard side vs the port from the old sail. OK will have to see how it goes on the next sail.
The day on the bay was wonderful. I passed most boats on the bay as my baby was on turbo charge the whole day. The autopilot didn't have to work to hard as the boat balances real nice. All I had to do was just relax, forget the world exist, and enjoy Nirvana. I soo love sailing.
