After we dropped off John and Christian in Kos we had a week before picking up our new crew members in Samos. Our first stop was this tiny little fishing village on Kalimnos. We were very lucky to get a spot here because there are only about four places on the quay that are suitable for our deep keel. The place is a mini fjord and after the sailing season the place is busy with rock climbers. Many people from this village went to Darwin to help clean up after Cyclone Tracy on Christmas eve 1974, so we met many people with a connection to Darwin.

Most importantly, there are many cool cats here, so tempting to stow one away on the boat. Especially a grey kitten I named 'lil Charlie.
