Restoring the Teak and preventing mold

Ko Barrett: Sunny in the 50s
Today I off-loaded all the bedding, books and anything else that could mold while I spend weeks away from the boat. In so doing I decided to clean and sanitize the headliner and under the berths and restore the interior teak so everything was protected. I used a strong cleanser to eliminate every hint of mold and used Watco Danish oil to revive the teak, which looked pretty tired in places.
What a difference it is making! I'm about halfway through and the teak is gleaming with a wonderful richness that is not too varnished looking but will stand up to some wear. Can't wait to finish the rest next time out.
