Porta-bote with Torqeedo electic motor

Ko Barrett: Sunny with evening storms
Little Wing has needed a dinghy. I needed to find a combination that I could deploy on my own and store in the relatively confined space on deck. The wishbone boom running the length of the boat prevents storage on deck.
The porta-bote folds to the size of a ten-foot long surfboard, can be lashed to the lifelines, and weighs less than 70 lbs. The Torqeedo disassembles to three manageably sized pieces, is quiet, and provides enough range for my needs. We enjoyed riding at sunset out into the middle of the lake. I could let the kids drive the boat without worrying about safety. Can't wait to try it on the bay.
