A Really Nice Surprise!

With the forecast proclaiming no wind and flat seas, we left Francis Bay for Culebra yesterday morning....fully expecting a 30 mile, slow, boring motor. But the wind came up to 10-12 knots....a very comfortable 7-9 knot beam reach under the full main and our big red reacher.
Rick even tried fishing...again...with the usual result....none.
We dropped the hook in Ensenada Honda to do some errands and spend the night before moving around to Almadovar nestled behind the reef. It's Easter weekend, so the Puerto Rican "Navy," a massive flotilla of big power boats out to enjoy the Holiday, will no doubt descend. But the music and gaiety is fun to be around.
We expect to leave for the Bahamas on Sunday.
