Maybe we need a woman's touch

We made 5 miles on the ICW before the engine began sputtering and coughing. The prevailing theory is that the extreme mixing action of our washing-machine like voyage from Brunswick stirred up the fuel and all the 30 years of accumulated crap at the bottom of the fuel tanks and eventually led to occlusion of the fuel lines. We had to drain our tanks today, and they will be cleaned and refilled tomorrow, and we can continue with our journey. We still have not cleaned up the mess from a few days ago, as the picture illustrates. Of note are the completely blackened fuel filters sitting on the stove next to our coffee pot.
