Final Days in the Sun
18 November 2009 | Manjack Cay, Abacos
Mike
Anchored in lovely Manjack Cay. Spectacular snorkeling, lots of sun, big rainbow, beautiful sunset. We toasted our excellent day with chili dogs, more nacho chips, beans and a bottle of red wine discovered in the bilge. For dessert, Kit Kat Bars. We will be recruiting women for the next trip. We tried to buy some fish, but the fishing boat we managed to chase down with the dinghy had had no luck for the day. We are very close to Green Turtle Cay, so tomorrow we'll just tool around and snorkel some and find a suitable anchorage for the night. We have to enter Green Turtle at high tide (10AM) Friday, where we'll have the boat hauled and stored for a few months. Our mini-Odyssey is coming to a close. We'll miss the sunshine and warmth.
