The Finest Natural Harbor in the New World

Rainy, cloudy, foggy, cold, disgusting
No wonder this was such a coveted harbor. The Verrazanno Narrows protects the huge harbor so effectively that its almost like entering a lake. The Narrows is the only sea entrance into the harbor and is guarded on both sides by cannon emplacements to shred any Navy trying to enter. Fortunately we entered unmolested.
Chip looks pretty disgusted by the weather, but keeping his chin up. It's so damn foggy that we can't tell if that's Lady Liberty in the background or the world's tallest Nazi.
