Well I tried to send this blog at least four times last night and it would not send due to LOW internet coverage. Today is not much better, but it does seem a little faster. I will try it anyway because I know you are out there biting your finger nails waiting for the latest news. This will have to cover a few days just to catch up to the current time. We woke up to the sound of rain on the roof Friday morning as usual. Being bull headed, we left in the rain to make our second drive to Blue Ridge( the town) to go on our train ride. The train left right at 11 o'clock (in the rain) and we enjoyed a one hour ride to the Ga./ Tenn. line. They give you two hours to shop and look around before they pull out at 2pm for the return trip. My hat is off to two of the working group of people in the mountains. One, is the people who build and repair the road system and two, the electric company linemen. I have also found out that the mountains are good for two things. One in BBQ and two, is waterfalls. What they are not good for is cell phone service and internet (wireless) service. I have seen a lot of cell towers around but have yet to get anymore than one bar on the phone. I guess that the highs and the valleys here interfere with it. All the family went last night to eat dinner at Jim's BBQ. It is only open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I got the baby back ribs and they were the best that I can remember having. By the way, it was raining when we went in and raining when we came out. It stopped rain sometimes around midnight. We got up at 8am to 76 degrees in the mororhome and 41 degrees outside!!! It took us about a hour and 15 minutes from get up to pulling out the park. We made the 166 mile drive with no problems. Going thru Atlanta was nothing I would want to do every day, but it wasn't too bad. We got to High Falls State Park around 2pm. It is now 4:30 and we are all set up for our two day stay. We will most likely go out to eat tonight. We have not cooked a dinner meal in the motorhome since leaving home! More fun eating out:>). This state park is almost full, but then again its a week-end. The temp here now is about 75 degrees. But I am sure it will get cooler tonight. Well let me cross my fingers and sea if this will send.
