Still boatless

As I said in my last post, we had our offer accepted on a Tayana 37. We went down to Kemah Texas Thursday to take a look at it and make sure it was what we wanted. It wasn't. It's condition was way worse than we remembered, so we dropped our offer. So, while we were in the third largest conglomeration of sailboats in the U.S. We had to continue our quest. We spent all day Friday and Saturday looking at boats. Our search took us all the way to Lake Charles, and New Orleans. We even managed to look at a Hunter Passage 42 in New Orleans for our friend Mike. After all of that, we are seriously looking at the Hunter 40s. Bottom line is this, 1800 miles later, we are still boatless. There about a dozen 40s currently on the market. So we'll spend a little time at home working on our retirement house and then take another road trip. Until next time...
