We just made an offer on a Hans Christian 38 in Oriental. Now we start the waiting game. If our offer is accepted, we'll keep the boat in the Oriental area. We found a DYI (do it yourself) yard there where we can take the boat and get her offshore ready. We are thinking it will take us all of next summer to get her ready. Robyn has a lot of varnishing to do. Of course I'll do my fair share. I'll have to keep the beer cold in case she has a heat stroke. First aid can make a person thirsty. Whether the offer is accepted or not, Oriental will become our base. We loved the area and everything we will need is close.
