Ingram's Bayou

After our passage East through Mobile Bay, we turned North at marker 72 into Ingram's Bayou. we dropped the hook and stayed through Monday morning. Dick Dixon in Pascagoula told us about this "must anchorage". All we can say is... Dick knows his anchorages! The bayou was absolutely gorgeous. The holding was good, and we were in a very protected area.
For those of you who may follow behind us, Ingram's can be found on chart number 11378. You will want to turn left at marker 72. The chart accurately shows the depth, and you will want to anchor about 50 yards off of the old pilings. The photo shows our view saturday Morning.
The weather was looking like it might deteriorate beginning Monday night through Wednesday, so we moved Seanna to Barber Marina. My next post will be all about this marina. Barber Marina is a "must stop".
