We have bought ourselves a new boat. In Sea of Cortez- Mexico. We will fly there the 9 November as it seems and continue our adventures from there.

At this point we also start a NEW BLOG for this new EPOQUE in our lives.

will be the url we will continue to tell our tales on from now on. You can already now get some facts of 's/v Nanna' as we'll rename her, and our own story. (well, not all of it, we do have a private part to it, such as what we've been doing all these weeks in France and Sweden.

Wednesday afternoon we'll be back on the boat after a 24 hour bus ride if everything goes according to plan.

I can't tell how much we're looking forward to it. It has now been three months we've spent on land, longer than we thought for sure, but we have dealt with health check-ups, other personal matters and of course:

had a wonderful time with our families and some friends

New sailing adventures ahead!


the picture is from Ilha do Tavira - Algarve.It shot it early this spring, before the tourist season and I bet it's crowded now.

We made a road trip to look at a boat in Carentan, close to Cherbourg, Normandie.

Rented a car, and made it a full day trip by visiting Mont S:t Michel and the charming old city of S:t Malo on our way back. Uploaded a couple of pictures on Flickr too.

The boat? - turned out to be in a lot worse shape than expected.

Not too much sailing stories on this blog in a LOOOOONG time now.... I know.
