Taking Rotkat north we went from La Cruz to Punta de Mita, San Blas, Isla Isabella and up to mazatlan. After hanging in the old harbor for a few days we sailed across the sea to La Paz and RotKat will stay there until I return in June.

It is time to make sure that RotKat is still tied up properly, to help me with that Craig Liberatore and Tom Friel are coming along. While we are down there we figured we may as well sail the 3 day long Banderas Bay Blast , a grueling cruisers race between Punta de Mita, la Cruz and Nuevo Vallarta. The water and air temperature should both be in the high 80's. It's going to be a tough week...

After 5 weeks on the water and sailing 1700 miles from San Francisco (in the process doing the Baja Ha-ha) we have arrived in La Cruz, a sleepy village half an hour North of Puerto Vallarta. RotKat is staying in the marina Nayarit while we will use Alaska airlines to shuttle back and forth for the winter.
