On the Road Again

02 November 2019 | Guest Dock, Shelter Island San Diego
Eric
We’ve been working hard getting ready for the next step in our
journey. Linda spent a couple of weeks in Ohio helping with her mom and
preparing frozen meals for our next passage. Meanwhile I did the final
installation and characterization of the watermaker, installed wheels
for surf landings on the dinghy, patched the dinghy and took care of
lots of small things. Linda got back a week ago and our crew for the
next leg showed up today.

The next leg will be from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas as part of the
BajaHaHa rally. We’ll be leaving tomorrow afternoon for an overnight
sail (probably motoring) for Ensenada where we’ll clear in and take care
of entry formalities. We’ll join the rest of the rally Monday afternoon.
