This trip is now over, I am preparing the boat for some summer sailing and she is undergoing maintenance. After getting my "dirt dweller" status renewed in Virginia Beach it will be time to start these experiences all over again. Smooth sailing to all........

Chick and I had a very early departure to travel to Coinjock, NC. Mornings like this make cruising all worthwhile.

Chick and I had a lovely passage across the sounds of North Carolina. Here is a picture of another Island Packet we moved north with for a couple of days from Morehead City.

Chick and I left Beaufort, SC March 31st and arrived at Beaufort, NC 12:30 AM April 2nd. That was a 39 hour offshore run that took 5 days off the normal trip on the inside ICW. Today we rested at Portside Marina and wil get underway tomorrow morning for Norfolk,VA. I plan to run inside on the sounds of NC and hope to be in Norfolk by Saturday, April 5th.

It was a great run!
