Tuna Delight

Crew
Wind Child continues North. Sailing today has been smooth with 12 to 20 knot winds since 0600 this morning. We are averaging 6+ knots. Last evening we were becalmed twice-no wind for about 1.5 hours. We have covered 130 nautical miles today. Since leaving Hawaii we have covered 720+ nautical miles. We are sailing between a small low and large High weather area.
Sailnet Boaters reported last evening that they were motoring in the area where we are headed. The sailnet enables cruisers to report their position each day and the local weather condition for other cruisers information. By reporting to the sailnet a cruiser can be tracked daily, if he does not report to the sailnet a search can be initiated to locate them.
We have continued to fish and caught a small tuna. Rob who was at the helm yelled "I saw a fish the size of an ironing board chasing the Tuna"! He was ecstatic and had Rudy, Terry and Dave who were in the cabin on deck in an instant. What a thrill!
