Day 19
31 March 2016
3pm, Valivia time and still no sign of land. We have 54 miles to go. Its a beautiful sunny day. The sea is fairly calm except for a well spaced gentle roller. Light wind on the nose, so we are motoring. We've all had hot showers, since we no longer have to conserve on water. We are seeing flocks of Albatrosses now. Dominic calls them trosses; Dave calls them albartrosities. Dave saw dolphins this morning - yea - its been a while. We also saw our first traffic - a cargo ship. So how exciting can you get, right? We will probably anchor close to shore or hove-to through the night, then head up the river first thing and hopefully tie up at the Valdivia Yacht Club, which is fairly close to town.
