After an overnight passage of 80 miles from St Lucia, we arrived at Prince Rupert Bay on the north end of Dominica. We were pleased to see some improvements in the town of Portsmouth since our last visit there 3 years ago, including security guards at both dinghy docks and the construction progressing on a new large Catholic Church.
We enjoyed a 3 hour tour up the Indian River with friend Stuart and Anne, who had arrived here the previous afternoon. They hailed up on the radio as we arrived so it was great to reconnect once again.
Based on weather conditions, we revised our itinerary and planned a short hop of only 22 miles for our next passage up to the French Islands of "The Saints"
