The main town on St Helena is Jamestown and it is tucked in a narrow valley. This charming little town had shops where we could do some further provisioning because the RMS St Helena cargo ship had just been there that week. There was even a laundry lady who washed and dried all our sheets, towels and clothes. Linda got her hair cut and we enjoyed a nice lunch as well. There are other settlements around the island and we took a wonderful tour with Robert the 83 year old island expert. More on our tour in the next postings.
