Bottom Paint

07 October 2013 | Cornet Bay, WA.
Rod
As we continue the preparation for our trip to Mexico a few things have come to mind, wow, with this small boat I don't have to live in the shipyard for jobs like bottom painting...... We put Plan "B" on the trailer the other day in Anacortes & drug her home to the cabin, put down some plastic & started in on the bottom. Three days later, Wa-La, she sits with new paint & zincs, I slept on my Tempurpedic every night not 25' away in the cabin, ate great food by Jane & never left the driveway. What a change from living aboard, eating dirt, dust & paint with an occasional cold drink. So tonight I sit here with a margarita, admiring at my work & smiling all the while knowing I'm one step closer to catching up with our friends in the Sea of Cortez. Even if I will be on a "stink pot" this time.
I'll just be glad to be there......... Hasta
