Weather was cold, rainy and windy. We are at a mooring ball and it was impossible to go ashore with the dingy, so we had to make do on the boat. I finally baked some snickerdoodle cookies, and they are awesome. I think I have gained back all the weight I lost on the crossing! And then I made salmon cakes and they were good also. I had provisioned the boat in the spring with a lot of food. Now, I am trying to use them all up! Soon we start working on the boat to get her ready to go on the hard.

Leaves are beginning to change colors. We occasionally see a bright color, usually a vine or a bush, most of the trees are turning brownish or tan. We don't see much of the glorious fall colors we can get in Minnesota, but fall is definitely on the way.
