We motored the dinghy a bit farther afield up into Camus Bay ... tied up at sea weed-overgrown-bit-run-down quay off the well plied channel and walked up to the road where there was an establishment... the Hooker Bar... yup! You see hooker here has a totally different meaning. A well heeled Galway hooker is a sailboat that is well heeled over under full sail. The Galway hooker is a local traditional fishing vessel from the past, now days they race them. Later, when we got back to our boat we saw hooker out sailing in the evening sun & breeze... pretty boats.
