Searching for summer

We caught the 8:20 a.m. bus with Mary, and took a two hour bus ride into Ballina. We were able to view the Jackie Clarke exhibit. This was a private citizen that loved Irish history and collected over 100,000 artifacts – books, articles, maps, posters – that cover a 400 year period. The museum opened in April and they have already had many visitors. The salmon festival is this weekend, so the town was starting to fill up with fishing types of folks. And then we bid Mary adieu and headed back to Nokomis. We will miss having her with us.
