Our new home

We had resisted coming up to Ipswich. It is ten miles (about two hours) up the river. But as Jim commented below, there is no good anchorage for a Force Nine wind, so we came up here to be safe and to be able to get off the boat to explore. Funny thing happened, we liked it here so much that we will keep the boat here for the winter. We have already attended the Unitarian Meeting House twice, been to a play and a local community production of a musical about 19th Century working conditions and this weekend we go to a dance performance. We walk around the town every day and find fascinating new buildings, museums and art galleries to explore. And right outside the marina is a dance studio. I am taking three classes a week - yoga, dance movement and ballet. We will come back to Minnesota for part of the winter, but feel very much at home right here. The picture is of the Unitarian Meeting house.
