Marshes

Today was one of those beautiful fall days with lots of sunshine. (However, it starts getting dark by 4 pm these days!) We caught the bus out to Trimley and did a 3-4 hour hike around the marshes. This is part of the Suffolk Wildlife Trust and is noted as the best marshes/estuary for bird watching. The Trimley Marshes are 77 hectares in size and 249 species of birds have been sighted there. It was warm, but windy, and became chilly as the sun set. This is a panoramic photo Paul took, experimenting with the camera on his smart phone. We took it at the bird blind, and even though it looks flat, it is almost a full 180 degrees.
