Did a quick day stop here to line up for the tidal current through the Sound of Islay. Had a great hike ashore among the sheep. Made it to an ancient priory – 1350’s or so. Quite a bit of it still standing and there are newer modern buildings nearby for a retreat. Paul explains the picture is of the cloister, it was a covered walkway around an open courtyard, which the monks would walk around. Another sunny, warm day. Loving this great weather.
