Sail day

Finally, we were able to take Kate and Jack for a sail. Jack steered while we tacked south-west out of Caernarfon. Very shallow waters out quite a distance from the Menai Strait. And then Kate steered while we tacked back towards the Llyn Peninsula. We found a not-so-snug harbor at Porth Dinllaen. It was okay for the evening, a great dinner of roasted chicken and then a rousing game of hearts. And okay for falling asleep but by 2:30ish the swell started coming in. Got us up in plenty of time for our 4:30 a.m. departure.
