Pictured is Sabrina at anchor in Onancock. Mizzen sail being used to control the swing while at anchor.

Onancock is a very nice town that is in a well protected spot with nice shops and 3 or 4 great choices to eat. We will return on another trip.

We are off at 5:45 Thursday morning headed the 38 miles from Onancock to Cape Charles to check out the rumors of a great meteorite that hit in that area over 35,000 years ago. Based on information I am finding, I want to see what that is about. More to come on that tomorrow and the part the meteorite played on developing Hampton Roads and one of the greatest sailing grounds in the world.
No wind to speak of at this time.

About: We have been full-time liveaboards for five years and we are career professional educators. We will retire within the next five years and plan to cruise the eastern coast and Caribbean. During our 2015 summer vacation from school we plan to travel from Beaufort, SC to the Chesapeake.
Extra:

Cest La Vie will always hold a special place in our hearts as she taught us how to sail and cruise, and was [...]
