We are off the docks at Cape Charles at 6:15AM this morning and happy and sad to be leaving. There are many more places to see.

It's cool this morning with low humidity. We have an early start for a great weekend to celebrate our country's birthday in the greatest naval port in the world.

We did not find any information on the meteorite, but that's what happens when you spend a lot of time in an Irish Pub.

We cut off a good bit of time yesterday on both ends by not following the charts and cutting corners with depth, and saved more than an hour total.

The entrance to Cape Charles is a deep 18' channel in and out. Cape Charles is a nice town that is working hard to be special with 1000 year round residents and 8000 in the summer. It also has a very nice beach.
