This morning we finally did it. we threw off the dock lines and backed Sasha out of her slip. She is no longer a relegated dock queen. Said our goodbyes to the friendly folks that have become near and dear. As we ventured out into open water the wind and sun filled our faces with large grins. Yes after a year of daily grinds Sasha is pushing her bow forward. once through Haulover canal we raised sail, turned off the Iron genny and listened to the quite forward progress. North she said and north we went. now anchored and waiting to go again at sunrise.
